Can I brand a PopOut with my company logo?
Yes of course. To brand a PopOut with your logo from stock product, our minimum quantity is only 250 (this is ideal for events, exhibitions and conferences). (further detail here)
What formats can I choose from?
There are four basic PopOut formats: Single, Double, Single with gatefold and Single with booklet (further detail here), although you may choose modifications on each of these formats - such as a 'CD' size or adding a pocket for a business card or a one-piece mailer PopOut. We are open to any suggestions or design modifications you may have in mind.
What are the PopOut measurements?
The PopOut map measures 215mm (h) x 250mm (w) (83/8" x 93/4") and closes down to a cover dimension of 95mm (h) x 130mm (w) (51/8" x 33/4"). The PopOut map can be made larger or smaller to include the content you require. Please contact us for further detail.
Can you create a customised PopOut map from scratch?
Yes we can, firstly we need to find out if the mapping is available for us to use. If it is, we will then provide you with a quotation based on the time our cartographers need to recreate the
mapping (of course this depends on how much mapping detail you require for your PopOut).
What print finishes are available?
It’s up to you. Unless you require a special finish, custom printing has a standard finish 4-colour print with gloss-laminated covers. However, special print finishes are available including
matt lamination, spot UV varnish, Pantone colours, foil/embossing etc. Simply tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll see if we can do it for you. (further detail here)
What is the minimum order to customise a PopOut?
To customise your own unique Company PopOut we can print in the UK with a minimum quantity of only 2.5K. However, to get the best prices we recommend a 5K run which is printed
in China.
What are the print lead times?
Lead times for printing in the UK are between 4-6 weeks from artwork approval and 4-12 weeks for China printing.
Can these lead times be reduced?
Yes it is possible. Lead time can be shortened with delivery via air freight, and it’s possible to spilt your order. For example, if you had an important event we can send the amount you
require by air and the remainder can arrive later by sea.
Can you provide display units?
Yes. We can provide a range of display units and spinners at a nominal cost. This is very useful if you intend to sell your PopOut as a retail product because our displays will
help increase sales and are uniquely designed to enhance the PopOut products (further detail here).
How to place an order
In the first instance we provide you with a quote. When you are ready to place your order we send you an order form containing all order details such as price, production dates etc, and an accompanying terms & conditions document. We will ask you to sign the order form to confirm your order. This acts as a purchase order and your acceptance of our terms.
Payment Terms
Payment of 50% of the cost plus the production set-up charges to be paid as a deposit at the time of order, with the balance due within 14 days of receipt of your delivery.
A pro forma invoice for the deposit is sent upon receipt of the signed
Quotation sheet.
What does your set-up cost cover?
This is a minimal charge at cost only to allow for print preparation of a job typically consisting of a custom cover, map with location marker and up to two minor amendment drafts.
What artwork should I provide?
Customers to provide print-ready artwork to the our design specifications. Full artwork guidelines and templates will be sent in advance.
Unfortunately we can only accept these formats, but we are happy to advise you at artwork stage for a smooth processing of your order.
Do you provide a design service?
Yes. We can provide a full design service for an additional cost. Please enquire about this if you would like further information on this service.
What is your proofing procedure?
Proofs will be ready when our Studio has completed all artwork prior to printing, and the procedure is as follows:
- Studio creates electronic proof (PDF) for approval, which is sent via email.
- Any alterations or corrections will then be carried out by the Studio and the amended files re-sent by email for approval.
- The customer approves and provides a written confirmation of acceptance of the electronic proof.
- Studio then produces one set of inkjet proofs of all printed parts with authorisation stickers of the finished material, and one mock-up of the finished PopOut. These hard copies are sent
to client for Final Proof Approval (FPA) together with a cover sheet. The cover sheet contains disclaimers and acts as a set of instructions. This is to be signed before we go to print.
Lastly, what are your delivery costs?
For China printing, prices are shipped FOB Hong Kong and free delivery to one UK or mainland address.
For UK printing, delivery will be charged at cost. If you wish to use your own carrier, please advise us and we can organise the collection for you.
